Alberto Gallazzi, TACFIT World Educational Director, introduces his new, first of its' kind, training program – a Clubbell® strength progression designed specifically to develop a solid introductory foundation for compound barbell lifts.

Alberto Gallazzi

Using the barbell to increase a baseline of pure strength allows us to become stronger in any physical endeavor that we choose to apply it to.

Of course you can become strong with the use of bodyweight, dumbbells, and kettlebells, but in this program Coach Gallazzi shares his perspective that to be increasing heavy weight for the sake of strength development - nothing out loads the barbell.

For all the great aspects of the barbell, like many tools, most people lack the proper understanding of the tool’s design, their own body’s capabilities, and a guidance of proper mobility required to execute the correct technique in order to maximize benefits from the barbell. Unaddressed mobility restrictions in a person create negative physical adaptions that only become worse under such heavy weight loads.

In his new program, Coach Gallazzi seeks to address these negative adaptions with barbell training by incorporating improved mobility, neurological motor patterns, and recovery techniques using another complementary ancient strength tool - the Clubbell.

· The Clubbell, with its’ displaced center of mass and natural grip, is unlike any other tool for exposing weak links in our kinetic chain and addressing imbalances.

· The Clubbell is able to create positive strength adaptions in ranges of motion that no other tool can access with enough challenge to create change.

· Incorporating enhanced mobility and movement knowledge from the Clubbell, this new program keeps you to training across full ranges of motion which translates into greater understanding and command of the barbell.

Coach Gallazzi shows you 4 of the primary compound lifts of the barbell for developing strength; but builds up the foundation for each lift with three specific Clubbell movements that “turn on” your neurological movement patterns to enhance the technique of each of the featured barbell lifts.

With three different program variations to choose from, this design ensures you can hone in on the program that addresses your current training demands while leaving you with subsequent programs thereafter to follow up on the results you have worked to gain.

Coach Gallazzi also provides some of the best technical expositions and breakdowns while also equipping you with the correct regressions, progressions, and alternatives for when you may not have a barbell or conditioning tool on hand.

With the conjoined strength skills of the Clubbell translated to the progressive compound lifts of the barbell; both tools effectively work together to enhance your technique, power, athletic development, and body composition. As you become stronger with the Clubbell, you become more powerful with the barbell, and the development of all your movements and strength-skills begin to further progress along with them.

For those who spend ample time within the functional training realm and train multiple rages of motion, there are great benefits to be gained from simple and heavy two-dimensional exercises; in the same way the reverse is true.

Anyone from the experienced barbell lifter, the novice barbell lifter, the seasoned kettlebell or clubbell athlete can benefit from this unique and thoroughly constructed program from Coach Gallazzi.

Truly an innovative and one-of-a-kind program, this program is undoubtedly a must-have for any serious functional athlete or enthusiast who wishes to learn the most safe and effective fundamentals and mechanics of the barbell as a tool, its potential for translation to other skills, an enhancement of overall training level, and anyone looking to increase their baseline of full body strength.

As the Captain Says - “Do it Right!”

We look forward to receiving your results.

Alberto Gallazzi

"I was born and raised in the Milano suburb of Northern Italy in 1970. As a child, I was very active until the age of 12. It was around that time that I stopped all physical activity, and for 2 years, I was just shoveling food in my mouth. The end result left me a hefty 89 kg at the age of 14 and this was not muscle mass. I finally decided to make a change and started attending a Kung-Fu class. Somewhere along the line, while my body was being restored to health, I was introduced to my “first” love: Full Contact Kickboxing. As I continued to train, I found myself competing, winning several medals, an Italian championship, and few pro fights!

At the age of 18 I volunteered for the Army serving in the airborne division and later becoming very active across many units. When I left the army, I went on to manage security personnel in different clubs in Italy and abroad. After a while, I decided to move to the United States. I spent 5 years traveling the country studying various styles of martial art and learning from the best coaches. During this time I worked for different security companies, including a bail recovery agent in California.

After 5 years in the United States, I was hired by a Swiss Diplomat to head his security and I moved back to Europe. I found myself working close protection security across the EU, Middle East, South Africa, and more. I ended up opening a security and training company, Secutor, which provided physical training and designed combat specific curriculum for special forces in Italy and abroad.

I am now the EU director for RMAX International and the TACFIT Military Division Chief, representing Scott Sonnon’s work. I have been studying under Dr. Dennis Hannover and have achieved a 3rd degree black belt in Dennis’ Survival Jiu-jitsu. In 2008, I even won a gold medal at the World Championships in Israel . I have integrated all I learned under my mentor Scott Sonnon and my second father Dennis Hannover, to design a combat specific training method called TACFIT Survival Jiu-Jitsu."

This is a program specifically designed to increase strength and modulating body composition! If you follow the 4 day approach and the conditioning you will experience amazing results without burning your Central Nervous System. CBSL is designed with specific volume waves, recovery times and conditioning to develop strength, muscle mass, and improve recovery. This is the first program of it’s kind that incorporates Clubbells in a manner specific to improving Barbell strength.
Yes absolutely! Everyone can give this program a try. Coach Gallazzi suggests for beginners to find their approximate PR (1-2 rep max) for each of the barbell lifts and according to that follow the PDF to see the % of load to be used on specific days and week. Beginner should just do the main part with maybe 1 or 2 conditioning sessions a week according to individual capabilities. Do not overtrain!
To follow the program as it is designed, you will need 1 barbell and a pair of Clubbells (women 5-10 pounds and men 10-15 pounds to start) and if available one single heavier Clubbell. You do not need any rack or specific support for the barbell! We designed this program with the goal of reducing equipment and make this program accessible in a home space. Don't forget the plates and a collar lock for the barbell Important Note: If you do not have Clubbells and/or Barbells, you can still follow applicable parts of this program and reap the benefits from its unique design. For example, if you only have Clubbells and cannot perform the Barbell lifts, the Clubbell Build-up exercises are still very effective at developing strength that translates beyond just the Barbell. And if you only have Barbells, you can still follow along as the Captain presents strong foundational elements to help anybody improve their Barbell Lifts.
Multi-Dimensional Strength Development, Increase in Functional Muscle Mass, Fat Burning and Improved Stamina and Recovery.
Typically you will see great changes starting within the first 4 weeks. For best results, stick to the program design and remain consistent with the waves, of course follow a good nutritional plan, drink plenty of water and give yourself enough sleep and recovery time! Remember that food and water intake and quality of life are the main supplements to add to any fitness program
It can be if you are not humble to yourself and understand that you want to start any new program from bottom up! Remember you do not want to take an elevator during a fire but you want to take steps to understand when it is safe and time to move forward or regress.
You can use this in conjunction with other programs, but if your goal is to build strength and change body composition than this should be more than enough for you! If you planning to use another fitness program, Coach Gallazzi suggests the 2 days approach on the PDF and leaving out the conditioning portion.
Give at least 3 months to get the best out of it. Once again you need to first define your goals and then choose accordingly from the 3 approaches in the PDF (manual). Follow all protocols and remain consistent in your practice.

You will find a chart with different ways to approach the program and how to run it weekly. The manual will also explain the level or load you need to train with, frequency, and how to recover.
