TACFIT Firefighter Massive Results in Contest
August 30, 2012 – 6:02 pm
Some think data is boring, and that it requires too much energy to be diligent in tracking progress. Some think data is irrelevant, that only effort matters, regardless of poor technique and injury.
But scientific diligence guarantees precision progress. That’s why everyone improves in TACFIT, not just the top 3% who could do anything and gain some type of result without a serious injury. TACFIT is for the 97% of us that need to know exactly what we’re doing right and do more of it, and what we’re doing wrong and how to improve it.
The collected data continues to validate the method: TEAM FST demonstrated a 6% improvement in recovery while demonstrating a massive 55% improvement in task performance complexity.
Congratulations to TACFIT Firefighter Division Chiefs Christian Carson and Ryan Provencher, to all the participating TACFIT teams and especially to the most improved: TEAM FST!
