Food causes stress (or relieves it)

When we are tired, exhausted and fatigued, it is seems counter logical that exercise and not eating comfort foods will give you more energy when you are already tired.
Even after years of fine-tuning, I can experience it throughout the day. We often require strong evidence to show us that when we are tired, doing the exercise and the food gives us energy.
When we don’t have sufficient evidence then sometimes we just have to trust that it will give us energy even though it doesn’t feel like it.
Eating sweets and comfort foods and not exercising acts to the nervous system as powerful stress. Next time, when you feel stressed out, tired, fatigued and exhausted, trust that a session of good movement followed by a meal of good food with GIVE you more energy and remove excess stress burden from your body. (And of you’re KNOW you’re going to “cave to the crave” then start with your exercise first, and only allow yourself a half portion of the sweet immediately after you’ve had a good meal.)
