NO Competition but Desperation
October 10, 2012 – 9:49 am
I’ve been humbled by children who have accurately corrected my errors I had not seen, and had the privilege of teaching the teachers of my own teachers. We can learn something from anyone, if we remain open to growth. When we do this consciously together, we elevate to an inclusive, deliberate community.
Each approach is unique and effective, so it doesn’t matter where someone begins, continues, or shifts. If someone finds an approach with which they resonate, collectively support, encourage and motivate them to succeed at their goals in the way that best fulfills them individually.
This is how we take our notion of “family” and share it with what is usually a very competitive set of exclusive fiefdoms fighting over scarce resources. There (quite unfortunately) is no scarcity of people who need help, and if we are open we can all learn from each other, so we should all work together to share with as many people as we collectively can.
I have not always felt this way, but as I continue my own personal and professional growth, I have come to realize that regardless of the challenge, “together, we can.”
very respectfully,
