Your Ultimate Expression of Fitness?

One of two problems happen when we learn a discipline: either we are forced to repeat static patterns through rote memorization, or we are offered no specific direction and expected to enable creative improvisation without a mastery of the fundamentals.

Because of my learning disabilities, I had to learn how to “crack the code” of movement by breaking it down into its essential components, mastering those fundamentals, and then sewing together the transitional components into synergistic flow.

You could change our approach by merely adding weight, speed, frequency, volume, the typical variables of progression. However, the true value of our approach lies with fulfilling unique definitions of “fitness” -

1. Fitness prepares the rate of recovery from high intensity to high level technique (form).
2. Fitness produces the ability to navigate known, unknown and unknowable obstacles with ease (biomechanical efficiency) and imagination (improvisational flow).

The specific levels of regression / progression encoded within CST TACFIT allow everyone to systematically fulfill these definitions of fitness. Creative flow happens as a result of mastering the basics, now to transition them together, increasing and decreasing their simplicity, efficiency and adaptability.
