Who’s Your Fitness Advocate? Who’s Got Your Back?

April 7, 2009 – 6:11 pm

What do 85% of successful fitness programs I’ve seen succeed? Why do group exercise classes, group training teams, sports teams and even personal training coaches provide more consistent results compared with people who even regularly attend the gym on their own more often than the group participant?

Who’s Got Your Back?

Who’s Your Fitness Advocate?

Watch This Movie and Join in on the 100 Day Challenge!

If you have an advocate - like a “buddy system” - someone will not only support you through the challenges that all self-transformation elicits, but they’ll also hold you daily accountable for following through on your goals.

So, if you want to nearly guarantee success, find yourself an advocate who will provide candid tough-love feedback when you need it, encouragement when you need it, and make you realize that you’re not merely letting yourself down, but you’re letting your others down if you quit.

That’s why at RMAX International Community Forum we have a built in advocacy program, a buddy system, to guarantee that your old habits won’t be coddled and enabled, that you’re new aspirative goals will be followed through and that you’ll have someone there to help you out when you feel lost, or be able to find someone that can.

Join the RMAX International Forum if you’d like to participate online or at home, and start your Personal Fitness Blog beginning April 10th. I look forward to helping you surpass your goals and dreams!

  2. This is an excellent idea, Coach! When are you planning on kicking off the 100 days?

  3. Linus,

So, let’s start on April 10th for 100 days.

Reverse engineer your goals for the 100 days. And create 10 chunks or steps that will get you there. Then, create 10 baby steps to achieve each of those chunks.

Blog your daily march to your 100 Day Challenge in the free RMAX Personal Fitness Blogs section and ask for an advocate to buddy-up with you!
