I'm thinking it would be a great idea to start a thread were we can post techniques to find hidden tension especially in Intu-FLow.
A couple of days ago I discovered a neat method for working out excess tension in my feet. I have a history of ankle injuries from soccer, running and snowboarding. Thankfully I've recovered my ROM with daily warrior wellness.
When I fully extend my foot (espescially in prasara flows) I often get charlie horses in the bottoms of my feet.
I've been finding that if I curl my toes as much as I can and then try to extend my foot my I can only extend about half an inch. The radius of my ankle circles is also reduced to about 1/2 an inch. I am excited about this because my ankles circles had reached a maximum radius. Also I'm looking ahead to really maximizing this new range of motion because I am thinking it with help me increase my pike ROM and shinbox/knee switch movements. And all that translates into more tweaked grabs and more breakdancing shenanigans :D
This is very much like doing wrist circles with hands closed vs hands open.
Hopefully this helps you too. If you have any other tricks like this add them to this thread.
