Hi everyone,

I’m getting back into KB training & wanted to get into CB training as well. I care about having real world strength & conditioning, but I also want hypertrophy too  . When I first heard about CB’s I thought they were cool, but I was skeptical about how much Muscle they would put on someone. Now the CB’s go up to 45 lbs. And with the ABC book I now believe one can get as big as there Genetics will allow with CB’s.

What I wanted to know is, if one were to get the ABC book, would it be wise to also get Coach Sonnon’s CB book & video first? It would seem like a given to me? I hear only good things about his materials. Also to do the ABC program what size CB would one recommend a Noob get? Should everyone start out with the Bruiser? Thanks in advance for any help. Take care, Happy New Year & Happy Clubbing!

Pedro,

What's up buddy? I would get both the CST book and video by Coach Sonnon. ABC is awesome but it still plays off a solid foundation built from other, more fundementals drills. Glad to see that you're back to training. Have fun.

J-Dawg!

What’s up buddy, good to hear from you. Thanks for replying to my post. It’s good to get back to training, it’s been to long. I definitely want to get CST Book & Video. I just moved to Orlando, and once the dust clears, I want to get Heavier Kettlebell’s and a Pair of Clubbell’s. Thanks again for the advice buddy. Take care.

Jason is right

Get the video to learn the 101. The ABC program is stand alone but it assumes, and demands, that your basics are solid. As i learned you may be able to musvle the little CBs but not the 45.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the reply. You are right, I must have a solid foundation before I can go after the ABC and the Bruiser. Thanks for the solid advice I appreciate it. Take care.
