As a newbie to MA, this was an awesome way to be introduced incrementally to the world of FlowFighting™. While the workload was intense, the mechanics that we drilled allowed for a quick overall recovery after the weekend, especially considering the newness of the activities. The FlowFighting™ coaches were so accessible that I feel sympathy for my fellow warriors who struggled with unapproachable/dangerous coaches in their respective MA. Attending this seminar opened my eyes to how much fun MA can truly be. I also believe that my FlowFighting™ experience would have been severely limited had I not prepared as guided by my peers and coaches. Further, the actual drills of the FlowFighting™ weekend allowed me to see my weaknesses in CST, giving me immediate feedback on why I need to address them. My fellow combatants were great, allowing me to learn from each training moment as variable intensity was applied.

Overall, I am blessed to have been able to attend this event with such high-quality participants and coaches.

Don,

It was a pleasure to get to meet you, and train a little bit! If the couple of pich-up/slams I saw were any indication, you got the goods my friend!

Going out Sunday night was also great!

Don,

Trust me when I say we within CST cardre who attended this seminar see alot of potential in you. Thanks for sharing your report. I loved working with you and hopefully in the future we will have a chance to break bread again. By the way, it was fun poking and cutting you with my knife. ;)

Chuck,

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I’m really glad to have been able to witness your ground efficiency, giving me something to work towards. I feel very fortunate to have been able to hang out with you and the crew Sunday evening.

Coach Tran,

As someone that I see who is leading from the front, I appreciate your kind words. The energy you brought as a sparring partner was really fun, pushing this novice towards the next level of appropriate intensity. I look forward to healing from the knife bruises and training with you in the future.

Sean,

I’m glad that you were able to attend this seminar and get so much out of it. I enjoyed seeing how much energy you continued to bring to each drill. I look forward to working with you more extensively in the future, that is, after a bit of work with Coach Wilson.

Coach Fielding,

I had a lot of fun working with you and appreciate your encouragement. Your enthusiasm was infectious, no matter how tired I felt. I’m glad that I was able to be in your sparring group, in which Coach Wilson somehow ended up on his back…

Your encouragement and effieciency of movement are each qualities that I am slowly working towards. I'm glad that you could make it to this seminar.

Coach Ilano,

I value your insight from your unique experiences. It was fun to train along side of you as well as hang out with you, Ryan, and the rest of the crew Sunday evening.
