In 2005, the most common member feedback coming from thousands of RMAX athletes was this:
"How do we create a THP [Training Hierarchy Pyramid] for fitness since I'm not training for a specific sport?"

In 2006, RMAX released the answer to that resounding request: The 4x7 Formula is how you apply the THP for elite fitness levels even if you don't have a particular sport you're preparing for. You don't even need to know how it works. All you need to do is follow along and reap the enormous benefits.

This "health first" fitness approach optimizes functional intensity (general to specific energy systems), incremental sophistication (gross to fine motor quality), compensation (for the prior conditioned movements), recovery (from the sum total work load), and creative play.
The 4x7 Formula accomplishes this through a specific protocol and schedule based upon a universal phenomenon called the Fibonacci Sequence. Looking back over the years of daily entries in my personal training journals and that of my athletes, I noticed the pattern and worked for several years to reproduce it deliberately with about an 85% success rate. (I assume the other 15% proves that this is a tendency and not a law.)
To christen the launch of the 4x7 Formula's public release, we issued a challenge, the RMAX Transformation Challenge. From over several hundred requests, 60+ applications were received. By the time all of the doctor and trainer examinations and documents were signed and submitted by the deadline, 7 contestants were accepted into the RMAX Transformation Challenge which began on August 27th. Tomorrow will be Day 11 of the 28 Day event.
We are nearly half way through the Challenge, and we thought it would be the best time to introduce our contestants:

Please join us in cheering them on. They're VERY active in the private forums posting their food, drink, exercise and discoveries. They're each doing marvelously, and working together to cross the finish line as a group.
To commemorate Day 11 of the RMAX Transformation Challenge, please enjoy
