Hello,

Besides intu-flow, which I'm working on, could you recommend any compensatory movements or clubbell exercises for working in an office, especially reaching forward all day from a sitting position?

Will we ever see "RMAX Powered Office Worker"?

Thanks

Chris,

Shoulder bridges to compensate for the constant forward spinal flexion. Hold and release, exhale. Then revolve it a bit. Shallower range, circles, figure 8's,...

The Tumbleweed chain from the Prasara DVD is also excellent for this.

Chris,

My CST Slate Cleaning for Driving is easily adapted to Office Workers. Just spend a little bit more time on spine releases like Coach Murdocks recomendation and a little less time on the hip releases in that program. Check the Member Article Archives for that article.

Could explain what 'shoulder bridges' are please, and how they can be perfomed as circles, and 8s.

thanks.

Nick,

Which RMAX resources do you currently own? Perhaps I could reference something on one of them?

In no particular order:

Warrior Wellness DVD
Body Flow DVD
Body Flow Book
Be Breathed DVD
Flow Fit DVD
Flow Fit 2 DVD
RMAX Running DVD
Internal Martial Art DVD
Clubbell® Big Book
3DPP Manual
Forward Pressure DVD
Zdorvye VHS tapes
Maximology VHS tapes
Intu Flow DVD
Clubell Training DVD
Leg fencing VHS tape 1 only (TOP Tool Development)
Fisticuffs VHS tape 1 only (PYBE)

Wow, I didn't realise I had so much stuff. And I'm only scratching the surface of CST in my own practice. That material will keep me going for the next 50 years!

Shoulder Bridge I believe is also referred to as "Spinal Arch" in Body-Flow. As seen in the Twisting Spinal Arch and Arching High Leg BMEs.

Yep, thanks Sean, that's it. Go into the spinal arch position by holding on to your ankles if you can, and lifting and expanding from the breastbone.

You might also want to experiment with "rolling" up into that position by trying to peel one vertebrae at a time from the mats, and then reverse it to come back down one vertebra at a time.

Does that make sense, amigo?

I know what you mean! LOL! Imagine what it must be like to have to master every new program just before it comes out... :eek1: The boss weilds a heavy whip...
