I just received the book yesterday. I probably did somethng most people don't. I actually read the piece of paper with it. It said (I'm paraphrasing)- Do not attempt any exercise without a qualified instructor present. One of the reasons I purchased the book was because I knew there were exercises in it. Is this supposed to be a disclaimer like "Check with a physician before starting an exercise program" or "We are not responsible for injuries as the result of performing any exercise in this book".

I can't imagine anyone purchasing the book and then actually trying to find an instructor in the area where they live before attempting the exercises.

So, my question is- Why was that piece of paper included with the book?

Also, is there a companion video that goes along with this book, which may help with proper from when attempting the exercises?

Thanks

Ron,
[i]This is only a book. For safety reasons, the methods shown here should not be done without the direct supervision of one of our qualified trainers. Individuals involved in the production of this book, or RMAX.tv Productions, assume NO responsibility for any injury, damage or harm resulting from the execution or practice of the methods presented in this book. Consult with a physician before starting BODY-FLOW: Freedom from Fear-Reactivity programs or any fitness program. Do not use as a substitute for prescribed medical treatment; follow the guidance of you physician.[\i] This is the letter to which you refer. I believe the disclaimer that RMAX.tv Productions uses indicates strong encouragement to understand the nature of the medium - the written word: to communicate the training theory and exercise principles underpinning the Biomechanical Exercise Methodology. The accompanying video series is more appropriate to communicating the nuances of movement.

You mention the 'accompanying video series' in response to my original post. Is that the Biomechanical Exercise and Kinetic Chains video? Or, is there another video?

Thanks
