I just received a gift in the mail today from Dragondoor Publications in care of my friend, Pavel Tsatouline. He asked that I say a few words on his latest book, Naked Warrior.
As many of you know, I have great respect for Pavel. He and I have known each other for many years, since he first attended a seminar of mine in 98. I've watched him grow from co-running (with the late Mel Siff) the Russian Sports Science section of my online forum on one of my prior websites (amerross.com) to being Rolling Stones "Hot Trainer of the Year."
This isn't mere marketing savvy. The man has spearheaded a renovation of true tension production, and has crafted a resource presence with all the sophistication of an internal martial art.
Naked Warrior could be considered an encapsulation of some of the most valuable principles of tension production ever printed. Like each of his other books he has been kind enough to send me, this book out performs the prior. From my vantage point, you can see something very rare in them: evolution and refinement. Pavel has not stopped refining his material and his presentation… and from the looks of it, he’s never going to stop. Bravo, my friend.
Get this book, regardless if you are a complete newbie or a long time strength nut.
