A quick RMAX Gym vid tour

We're almost fully installed, but there's still construction to do.

This temporary facility is only 600 square feet, but every precious foot is used judiciously.

Here's me playing with my new "Figure 8" drill (http://www.rmaxi.com/images/climbfigure8.mov)on my monkey bars. The F8 is actually a rock climbing drill that my instructor is teaching me for levering my torso higher. The RMAX Gym is great prep for the vertical granite wall I'll be climbing in a couple weeks.

It makes me homesick, and I've only been there once...




Oh... and regarding the "figure 8 drill," IT'S REALLY COOL.
Would it cycle (continuing on) like this:

- forward leg over rear arm,
- pullup, disengage leg
- rear leg over forward arm
- with rear leg still engaged, rear hand over (to become forward hand), disengage leg
- forward leg over rear arm
- pullup, disengage leg
- rear leg over forward arm
- with rear leg still engaged, rear hand over (to become forward hand), disengage leg ... etc ...

???

Congratulations on the gym, Coach. It looks great. I have recently somewhat gotten into indoor rock climbing with my training partner. There is a facility in Miami, and we really have a great time doing it. Hope your climb goes well, and congrats again....oh, and thanks for the videos you post. I find them very inspirational and they give me a lot of ideas for my training, so please, keep them coming!!
