Yeah, you read right. The Simpsons are training with Clubs! Well, just Bart...and it was depicted in a fictious story. In last night episode, Bart trains with Grampa to get revenge on his parent's killer (it was a Batman Begins parady) and during the training montage Bart trains with Clubs!
Club Training has now made it to the longest running cartoon!
ROCK ON HOMER!

I can't believe I missed that! I'm going to have to go back to my Tivo and check it out :)

I saw that! Granpa was going to "get him in shape the Oldey School way".
If Bart had only hit the ceiling, he could have been Brian Bentz!

Bart's a little short for that sort (http://media.putfile.com/Double-Mills) of minor mayhem.
With his peculiar hand structure, he'd be more prone to going guided missile while doing ballistic exercises, like hammer swing, and take out a light and/or a clock or something.

I don't know how many times I've watched that clip, but the music chosen for the "episode" is just priceless and I can't help but chuckle at the look on your face. Not that I've ever hit the ceiling with a clubbell or anything...

That was absolutely brilliant!
I smashed a hanging light bulb doing Intu-Flow in my basement right after moving here - it was in the way anyhow. Didn't hurt me any (ya can't hurt solid steel, after all) but I'm still finding little bits of glass around my training area...

HA! Good one! I was just thinking about that last night as I was doing my hammer swings in the 36 degree garage!
I never did replace that clock, but I still have it somewhere. May make a nice "Bon Voyage" present for someone special.......

Yesterday, I did a trial run of the TbF. Early on, my grip slipped and the Clubbell® went flying into my collection of kettlebells. I'm glad it went to the left into the kettlebells and not to the right into the giant mirror

Yes, that would reflect badly on you. ;) :D
Seriously though, glad nothing was injured, on you or the surroundings.
