View Full Version : Popped blister skin - to remove or not to remove...

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has any insight on this...

I have a popped blister on the palm of my right hand. The blister was underneath calloused skin, so the skin is pretty thick. It popped a couple days ago. I am wondering if healing would be more expedient if I took the layer of skin off or if I left it. And also if there is any product or concoction that I could apply to it...

Thanks for any advice.

Adam

Hi Adam,
Don’t remove the loose skin. I recently had a blister on each hand and the loose skin was torn off the left blister. This blister was more painful and healed slower than the still covered one on the right hand.
