Is there anyway to pick up techniques quicker with solo performance such as breakdancing? For example, doing Softwork improves technique with two people or more because it imroves timing and reaction time. Is there any way to improve technique quicker in things that don't require a partner like breakdanceing?

Well, you definitely want to remove body impediments and recover as much as you can from preconditions in order to learn new things safely AND rapidly, which means having a nice solid foundation in Intuflow. Which takes plenty of time to build. ;)

Without that foundation, you are probably on a path to sacrificing your health for speed.

I'm curious, is there a reason you'd like to learn breakdancing very quickly?

Picking up raw techniques:
1. Identify a trick you want to be able to pull off.
2. Break it down into motor components or simpler approximations that you can actually do.
3. Work those throughly.
4. Gradually put the pieces back together, or sophisticate the approximations back toward the final skill. Baby steps!

Supplement this with whole-body IntuFlow, Clubbell and Prasara exercises that take you through the range and depth of movement used in the skill (without simulating the skill itself), and compensatory movements.

Putting this all together gives you a THP, or Training Hierarchy Pyramid. You can find lots of examples of THPs with the search feature.

Also, some breakdancing-type skills, such as leg swoops or spinal waves, can be found on existing RMAX instructional materials, like FlowFit or BodyFlow.

Hope this is helpful,

Jason
