My training for the next three weeks is going to be working primarily on some fun demonstrations of strength that I and my bros get to show off at the Arnold Classic. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, "Kids, don't try this at home."
2-10-04
2 sets 10 reps 1 Arm Swipes (each arm) Bruiser Class Clubbell.
1 set 20 reps ABC Barbarians; Bruiser Class Clubbell.
Notes: After the OCS, it just feels lighter 8)
Is that one set of Barbarians for each grip or one set using the right grip only?
20 reps? You're a beast!

Right Grip Only. I could have waited and done a set with Left Grip but after the Swipes, I was feeling pretty good. In anycase, I feel a Bruiser Mill brewing inside of me so perhaps this morning I'll have something extra fun to write about.

Morning DROM
Followed by Just a few Bruiser Shield Casts.
I feel only a few weeks away from Starting a Double Bruiser Density Cycle. That will be a fun log to write
Until then, my triceps and forearms were still a bit toasty from yesterday's work so I went the way of recovery and am looking foward to spinning a few Mills in the next day or so.

You twisted freak :!: (I mean that in the nicest possible way  )
You big crazy MF - I of course also only mean that in the niceset way. Some day, someone, probably Connie, will pay you a genuine, non backhanded compliment - naaaahhh

I can feel the love you guys  :)
With that in mind you'll probably love today's work.
Did 1/4 of the first step of the density cycle.
1 Bruiser Class Clubbell
1 Arm Swipes
5reps per minute for 10 minutes alternating arms.
25 total swipes each arm
Previous to this I had a 20minute street carver session followed by a thorough DROM session.
Later that day carved the streets a bit more and pondered the quote from Catch 22:
"He was very old."
"I thought you said he was a boy."
"Well he died, you don't get any older than that"
You guys and your street carving!

35 minutes DROM whole body set super smooth.
35 minutes street carving though mostly uphill pumping
1hour running/walking/hiking a new trail. Got lost had to turn around when I realized the trail had sort of disintregrated.
looking to carve the sun down if I can get out of the library soon enough 8)
On an unrelated topic, Connie you've been saving that one for a while haven't you
If that's what I'm gonna be competing with in OCS down the road maybe I just retire now

Got out of the Library as I'd hoped and got to carve till dusk and beyond all in all about a 40 minute session and I'm sure tomorrow my left foot and right groin will need extra DROM to loosen up the new tension that I taught them today. Pumping that 20lbs. BMW is quite a chore but when I get to a hill it feels great having that sturdy board under me.
Well, tomorrow should bring more work with the Bruiser Swipes and probably some fun Barbarians if I don't over do it.

Timing is everything Grasshopper. I see my seeds of FUD have taken root in you... I will reap in due time... I can hear it now ("she doesn't look like that - or sound like that - bluff? distraction? a tiny bubble from a vast underground sea of treachery? could I be underestimating?....")
MWHA HA HA HA
PS where is the avi of that carving. Sounds great.

Spent Sat. Sun. and Mon. doing DROM and carving for at least 2hours a day sometimes up to 5. Needed some time for my cns to learn something totaly new and different.
Today though...
1 Bruiser Class Clubbell
1 Arm Swipes, 2sets of 10 each arm (20 total swipes/arm). Really felt a greater training effect from going to higher volume within the set, can't wait to handle two at once tomorrow
1 Bruiser Class Clubbell
ABC Barbarians (Gama Cast to Flag Position)
2sets (1right grip, 1left grip) of 20 reps
1 72lbs. Kettlebell
Clean and Press
4sets (2 right, 2left) of 10reps
1 72lbs. Kettlebell
Snatches
2sets (1right, 1left) of 15reps
Notes: the Barbarians really fried my arms but I still had the urge to handle some heavy weight so I opted for the 2pood in the corner. Tomorrow I'm planning to hit some super high rep Bruiser Hammer Throws and some Double Bruiser Parry Casts. Should be a fun time :D

Did my DROM yesterday and took Dozer for a long walk walk into town and the great thing about the Pacific North West, just a few steps shy of the half way point of our walk it started to rain. So my active recovery walk got to double as cold water dowsing.
Today started off with a shorter walk to the gym then did my DROM and welcomed the arrival of a second Bruiser to the gym :D :D
My forearms weren't quite ready for double swipes so I opted for:
2 Bruiser Class Clubbells
Double Parry Casts
4sets of 2 alternating direction each set.
Tomorrow I'm throwing something new into the mix, ABC Hammer Throws done in a HIIT fashion twice a day. Full report to follow.

Yes, we're all very proud of our new arrival. You just can't help but look at him and imagine the limitless potential that lies in his future :P :P 8)

Oh what a morning :)
Ten minutes of ABC Bruiser Hammer Throws done in HIIT fashion so that I did as many as I could in 20 seconds then rested for 10 seconds and switched grips to do as many as I could for 20 more seconds in that direction, 10seconds rest and switch again for 10 minutes. In the end I think I did over 200 Balistic Hammer Throws.
rested for about two minutes then:
15 Quad Hops per minute for 10 minutes. Dug this old strategy out of moth balls because I sort of missed these killers.
rested for about two minutes then:
2 sets of 20 72lbs. Kettlebell Clean and Push Press (1 set each arm no rest between sets).
rested for about two minutes then:
1 set of 34, 72lbs. Kettlebell Hand to Hand Swings.
Cooled down slowly then did my DROM session where I made a new breakthrough in my lumbar range of motion. I will gain the flexibility of a circus freak, or die trying   All in all a very fun day.

That looks like a lot of fun. Kettlebells, BME's, Clubbells, Carving and the kitchen sink.
Thanks for the inspiration Coach.
Peace

Carved, carved, and then carved some more...
All told probably 6 1/2 hours on the board, I'm so hooked.
