Is the medicine ball used always a 20 pounder?

I really don't know but if I had to guess it would be no. The weight of the ball most likely corresponds to the movement in that some movement can facilitate more loads in keeping health first.

Hey Steven,

The RMAX gym is equiped with M-balls of all different weights. As in all CST, the weight chosen would be proportionate to the athletes target RPE while respecting their RPT and RPD assessments.

Cheers,
Adam

Yes, that is true, and if I can't perform the Delta level and keep RPE/T/D at their appropriate levels then I would need to identify the issues and develope a strategy to overcome them.

But in the TacFit programs sometimes a weight is specified and sometimes not.
I would assume that in order for everyone to be able to compete (apples vs. apples), the weight would need to remain the same or progress at each level to keep the scores meaningful, as it does with the Clubbell®® exercise portions. The Med Ball exercises progress in difficulty/complexity with the weight remaining the same in FOXTROT, but no weight is specified in ALPHA, INDIA, & KILO.

So I guess my question would be better stated as -
What size Med Ball should be used when no weight is specified for an exercise in a TacFit program that has been posted in the forum?

Thanks,
