I am so happy this forum is here, so here goes.
I found Clubbells through Krista Scott's review on her web site for weight training for women, stumptuous.com. Here's the article if you haven't seen it... http://www.stumptuous.com/clubbells.html. I was looking for a non-boring strength workout and oh my gosh, what a world the Clubbells showed me.
I got a pair of 5 pounders and the CST book and tape, and then had to get Body-Flow, and am thinking I need more and basic stuff like Be Breathed. I love, love, love, the feel, fun, and promise of this way of moving.
My long-term dream is masters track & field for the throwing events, plus, since I like the Highland performing arts (play bagpipes) I would love to join the lady throwers for Highland sports. Just for the fun of doing BME kinetic chains in a kilt on the field before the events.
I am a "lifetime" knuckle wannabe looking for tribeworthy fitness after 51 years of not paying much attention (long story)
I am pretty much starting from scratch.
I think I will join Andrew over in Healthy Nutrition and Weight loss or whatever it is called.
Thanks for being so inviting,
Connie
