View Full Version : Question: What is RT?

I've noted a lot of program logs have "RT 8" or "RT 10" noted on workouts. I assumed this meant "Resting Time" expressed in minutes or seconds... and that's how I've been using it in my own Program Log (i.e. "RT 20-30 secs").

Am I misinterpreting this RT notation? From some comments I've read, I get the feeling that "RT" means something else. :?

Please explain, so I can note my Program Log and personal journal correctly. Thanks!

Jason,
RT is usually used to represent the "rate of technique".

As in how skillfully you executed the movement? 1= poor, 10 = excellent?

That's nice to know! I will have to note that as well now, and will be editing my online Program Log accordingly.
