View Full Version : 2 Day a Week training
I have been doing my ABC workouts Mon/Wed/Fri. but I have since gotten a new job working at a warehouse for a large furniture and appliances store. So now I'm looking to do a 2 days per week program, but I'm trying to focus on training that will help me at work when I'm moving T.V.'s, Refrigerators, beds etc.
I want to use the bruiser on Monday and Friday but I'm unsure as to what exercises I should focus on and how I should adjust my rep/set scheme for a condensed 2 day a week schedule. Should I add more sets?

With what you're doing right now I don't think you need to adjust your set/rep scheme upon losing a day of training. Just keep on with what you've got and look forward to where you're going.
What I would recommend is that you work a Warrior Wellness type of active recovery session into your off days to keep your joints open and healthy.
The Bruiser should ideally prepare you for the work of moving heavy furniture and appliances.
The one thing I'd like you to focus on is getting all of your current exercises to a point where your doing 5sets of 10 with an RT of 8+ and an RPE of about 6. When you get there then we'll have to talk more about getting you started on a density cycle that should be super fun
Good luck with the new job and keep an eye on your energy expenditure so that your not going into your workouts to fatigued after work. To counter this possibility get plenty of sleep and up your food intake accordingly.
As always,
The one thing I'd like you to focus on is getting all of your current exercises to a point where your doing 5sets of 10 with an RT of 8+ and an RPE of about 6.
Do you mean 5 sets total or 5 sets with each grip?

Sorry meant to say 4sets of 10 (2 w/ each grip).
