One of our crew, Richard Allen, leaves Tuesday for the trials to attempt to gain a place in the Australian Athletics team for Decathlon.
Training conditions have been a bit difficult for the last few weeks over our way - some 41+ C (or about 105+ F) today.
Rich just grits his teeth and gets on with it.
( You do yourself big, big credit. )
We wish you all the best.
Cheers :D

I leave tomorrow morning to what will be a very interesting and educational experience in my life. Not to mention exciting and thrilling. I have been training for a long time for this but I must admit feeling every calm and reserved about it all , which for me is very new as I’m quite a stressful athlete normally.
I would like to also thank Mike Baldwin who has shown me many new techniques which I have adopted into my lifestyle, but for also exciting me about the new adventures which await for me in life not just these Olympic trails. So Mike thanks very much and I look forward to progressing with our training when I return.
Thanks to Coach Sonnon and the crew here for being very welcoming and having an open mind about training concepts and movement in general it's very refreshing to see people making new paths in life not just following old ones.
Thanks Guys I’ll keep you posted on results.
