To my fellow Canadians,

Take off, eh!

Today is a day for...

A Canadian Bacon Breakfast
A Timmy's coffee
A mid-morning Molson
Lunch listening to your Bob and Doug CD (or tape / record if you still have it :) )
An afternoon game of street hockey
And an evening wind-down watching Slap Shot before heading out to the fire works and more Molson
Have a great one!

Good day, eh. A happy Canada Day to all.

A mid-morning Molson

But doesn't Labatt reign in your neck o the woods, Adam? Labatt Bleu, la biere du Quebec! I remember when it was O'Keefe in some parts...

Hope you enjoyed your two-four, in any event. Or your mickey, whatever your poison. Perhaps while watching Much Music, catching a little Haywire, Chalk Circle, Platinum Blonde, Rock and Hyde or other 80's greats. Or perhaps the Friendly Giant is your thing, a little Casey and Finnigan, or maybe even The Beachcombers.

Back to a nice plate of back bacon...

Everything I know about Canada, I learned from Strange Brew, but hope all you "North Americans" had a Happy Day!

A Timmy's coffee

Some years back I was taking a class in Toronto and drove there from Grand Rapids MI once a month. As soon as we crossed the bridge into Sarnia we measured our progress by how far it was to the next Tim Horton's.

I was glad to see it still far surpasses McDonalds in Canada and that there's even one in Afghanistan now! (TOtH to Wikipedia)

It appears to be English, yet I understand very little of it. :)

I hope Canada Day was a great day for all those living there!
