My 45 year old cousin has recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Previously, they thought he had a hernia (I am not sure how you can go from a hernia to osteoarthritis, but anyway...). Now to my question - would a program like Warrior Wellness or Freedom by Degree help with osteoarthritis? Any suggestions and information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Where is the OA?

Supplements help take the edge off such as
Glucosamine
MSM
Herbal antiinflammatories
Ginger
Boswellia
White Willow from MediHerb

Weird treatments that I have found useful include
Hot apple cider vinegar packs
Magnets
These types of approaches have no research what so ever but I have seen improvements in 70% of the people that use them

Since I have OA, I can't really go a day without WW to keep the pain to a minimum, too long with out it or similar stuff then I get stiff and immobile.

And on the food side:

lots of omega3 fats, cut omega6 way down

adequate water, protein & veg for making synovial fluid

cut down on inflammatory foods (white powder foods = sugar, white flour), replace them with whole foods

avoiding the nightshade family helps some people (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers)

Thank you for the advice. The OA is in his hips. I will pass on the information that you have provided and get him started on Warrior Wellness. Thank you again for your help.
