I recently heard that Clubbells could help rehab after rotator cuff surgery..
I had surgery Feb. 2006. I still do not have full range of motion and have lost a lot of muscle in my right arm and shoulder.
Any advice?
Best regards, Jay Watson

Hi Jay,
Are you still in rehab? Has your doc cleared you for exercise?
CST is great for pre-hab (preparing your body to be mobile and strong in extreme ranges of motion) and post-rehab (after your doc/therapist has released you from treatment) but it is not to be used as a substitute for rehabilitation.
When you have finished your rehab, and your doc/therapist has cleared you for it, you might then begin with Intuflow, which will help you explore those lost ranges of motion without added resistance (weight), and start washing lubrication and nutrition into the joints.
Clubbells - likely the minis - would probably best come a little later, unless your doc, again, gives specific approval otherwise. I know not having the muscle can be frustrating, but you need that joint to be healthy enough to handle it. Clubbells can (and the heavier they are, they will) take you to far ranges of motion. However, if the joint isn't ready to handle that, you could very quickly (and seriously) re-injure your shoulder.
