Although I don't have a Clubbell yet, I ordered the Clubbell Training Video and Book. I have plans in the near future for ordering two Clubbells. Shipping will be VERY high to Japan I am sure!

I have been using Warrior Wellness for quite some time now with great results. However, I injured my shoulder in judo thus limiting my training with weights and in judo.

My main interest in Clubbell Training was as a tool for strengthing my shoulder and keeping it strong. But now after joining this forum I have realized, in yet still a limited way, just how the Clubbell can be superior over the 'typical' weight. It will still be neccessary for me to USE a Clubbell before full realization.

My question, finally, is;

Have you used the Cubbell as an 'aid' for rehabilitating an injured part?

Of course my end goal is not just using the Clubbell as a rehabilitation tool, per se. After reading and seeing videos of people swinging the Bruiser, I have a pretty good idea of where I would like to go. However, that is all in time. First priority is healing my shoulder. Baby steps...

I deliberately left this question vague. No specific answer I am looking for. Just curious as to the others out there.

Actually, yes. I injured myself (left quad) attempting to throw a younger cousin with harai goshi in a swimming pool.

Used basic arm swing to help with rehab. (Technically, I suppose you could say I did partial squats).

It helped.

Ryan,

Where in Japan are you? I will be in Tokyo (Kashiwa) for 10 days at the end of March...

Hi Jon.

I am located in Osaka. If you have the notion to come down to Osaka let me know. I'll show you around. Will you be here on business or pleasure?

There is another forum member named Scott who is currently in Tokyo.

Have you checked out Coach Sonnon's article on Rehab from Full Circle e-zine?

Also, here's one I wrote about rehabing an injured shoulder:

Ryan,

Unfortunately, no plans to make it down to Osaka this trip. I am attending the Bujinkan Tai Kai in Tokyo and then hanging out with friends and doing more training the rest of the trip. Hope you get your clubbells soon! They are wonderful for joint health/rehabilitation!!

Mata ne,

Jon
