Hello all, I'm new to the forum and I have a question regarding the Mill. In a recent newsletter "The Energy System of Fighting," it mentioned doing the Clubbell Mill, but when I looked up the Mill in the "Big Book of Clubbell Training" I couldn't find it. Does the Mill have an alternate name?

Thanks for any help,
Gary

Hey Gary,

Would you be able to stop by the Welcome Mat and post a quick intro? It is forum policy and helps keep things running smoothly...

The Mill is a combo routine, which is why it is not in the Big Book. You can see a clip of me doing the Mill here (http://www.squidoo.com/trialbyfire/). (second module down)

Cheers,
Adam

Hello Coach,

I've introduced myself in the Welcome Matt as you suggested, and I did visit your web site. I've bookmarked it and will visit often. Thank you for the information. I looked at you doing the Mills and I liked what I saw.

Thanks again,

Gary

The Mill is in the Big Book. It's in the section on Olympic Clubbell Sport, I believe.

Also, the recent monthly fitness tip on Shoulder Prehab had a great breakdown of the movement.

Hi Gary,

There are also a number of articles about Mills in the archives to CST mag. Do become a Premium Member (inexpensive! worth it!)

Just do a "find in page" on "mill" in the index in my link below.

Thanks to Connie and rutherford for your comments, and thanks to Coach Steer for showing me the Mill in 'Action.' Connie, I'm looking into becoming a Premium Member. rutherford, I did find the ICS Mill on page 258 of 'The Big Book.' I will offer an apology though, I'm practicing Intu-Flow and Xtension and I should have known from the Alternating Mill what the Mill was. I guess the term "Clubbell Mill" is what threw me off. Anyway, thanks again for all your help.
Gary
