As my metabolic type is Protein, I am advised to eat a lot of fat. I realise that animal fat is not inherently bad for you but i am a little concerned that researchers and followers of paleo style diets are basing their views on uncooked animal fat, a la the hunter-gatherer.
I tend to either grill or oven bake my meat which at the very least browns the fat, which, according to Udo Erasmus creates free radicals, which we are all aware are a no-no. Besides all that, i just dont find animal fat very palatable.
Basically, is animal fat essential for my type? I am thinking of eating lean meats and replacing animal fat with raw plant fats along these lines:

Daily
2 Tbsp Flaxmeal - Omega 3 Poly's
Handful Pumpkin / Sunflower seed mix - Omega 6 Poly's
1 Tbsp Olive oil - Monounsaturates
2-3 Tbsp Virgin Coconut Oil - Saturates

I'm pretty sure these are the right types of fat, its just i'm not sure if this is the right amount or balance.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
