We’re pleased to announce that RMAX Faculty Coach Ryan Murdock (http://www.rmaxinternational.com/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=69&Itemid=134) will be in Hamburg, Germany for a one-day CST event on Saturday October 27th, 2007.

This is your chance to train with a member of the elite RMAX Faculty Coaching Staff – an opportunity for world-class training that you can’t afford to miss.

Participants will be guided through an exploration of several core CST programs:

Intu-Flow (http://www.rmaxinternational.com/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=category&sectionid=5&id=120&Itemid=279) – CST’s flagship joint mobility and joint health program
FlowFit (http://www.rmaxinternational.com/mambo/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=160&category_id=34fe6cfb0edc0e295fb82ed16fe961a8&option=com_phpshop&Itemid=) – Health and fitness on the hurry-up – a revolutionary program that offers optimum results in 12-14 min, 3x per week
Prasara Yoga (http://www.rmaxinternational.com/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=category&sectionid=5&id=92&Itemid=276) –Release accumulated tension and remove the parking brake from peak performance as you learn to “Flow without thought”
TACFIT – The elite circuit training program from Coach Sonnon’s RMAX Gym, designed to promote “tactical fitness” for the real life action hero – fire fighters, police officers, military, and competitive fighters
Ageless Mobility (http://www.agelessmobility.com/) – CST’s flagship program for pain-free wellness and longevity

About the Seminar

This will be a full and rigorous day of training, but prior experience of CST is not necessary to get the full benefit from the material. Coach Murdock excels at crafting exercise variations to challenge participants of all ability levels, from beginner to elite, and two CST-certified assistants will be on hand to ensure that everyone receives individual coaching attention.

We’ll begin the day with a top to bottom Intu-Flow joint mobility session. This will prime our joints for the work to come, lubricating them with synovial fluids and decompressing them. We will then be ready for our introduction to FlowFit, a unique bodyweight exercise approach that you can take anywhere – from the gym to the hotel room - and that you perform without equipment for full-body health on the hurry-up. FlowFit will heat our cores to the boiling point, and will prime us for a slow-and-deep exploration of CST’s unique Prasara Yoga. Two flows will be presented from the Series-A Prasara curriculum: Tumbleweed (a neck and spine opener, and psoas and hip strengthener) and Flock of Pigeons (a hip opener and knee and ankle strengthener).

After lunch (eat lightly!) participants will be treated to a full TACFIT session. Real-world fitness to meet real-world needs, TACFIT will challenge you to push past your limits and reach levels of performance that you never would have imagined possible. Each program can be done at three different levels of difficulty, so this will be accessible to everyone. Finally, we’ll warm down and go deeper with a full hour of Ageless Mobility. You’ll find and release areas of tension that you never knew you had, and you’ll prime your recovery from the day’s work so that you’re ready to go again tomorrow – stronger, smoother, and more efficient than you were the day before.

Be sure to see CST Instructor Raimar Mohrdieck while you’re there - our host, and the top CST in Germany. He’ll be launching classes in each of these areas in Hamburg very soon. He will also be offering RMAX products at discounted rates, including DVD’s of the programs that we cover, on event day only.

We look forward to meeting you, and to striving towards our maximum potential together.

This may become the first time in history that Germans beg a Canadian for mercy. ;)

Sure wish I could join you! It'll be GREAT!

I look forward to training you, Andreas. It'll be fun. :)

We're going to cover a pile of material, but i think there's a good balance of intense work followed by release. I'm especially excited about the chance to introduce a TACFIT session. If you've been following Coach Sonnon's blog you have some idea of what's in store. I've been working some of those UFC programs, and they're very very cool...

This will be my first time to Germany too, so if you've any recommendations for Hamburg, perhaps a bit of travel writing will be in order.

Coach Murdock,

I'm really excited and annoy my friends in the meantime talking about all the time. I've been following Coach Sonnons blog on a daily base and I'm curious about the TACFIT session.

This will be my first time to Germany too, so if you've any recommendations for Hamburg, perhaps a bit of travel writing will be in order.
I don't live in Hamburg and will drive 2-3 h to be there so Raimar would be the better guide. But the last time I was there after Raimars FlowFit® clinic I really enjoyed sitting in the sun at the riverwalk of the Alster. There were a open air Taiko concert and some Cappoiera demonstrations. Hamburg is the biggest city in northern germany. I'm sure there will be much to discover.

We're now counting down the final days before Germany's first CST seminar. I think there are a couple spaces left, so please join us for what is sure to be a rewarding day of training. It's my goal that everyone take away at least one complete CST program that they can work with immediately in their practice, and also that each participant do something by the end of the day that they never thought they could do.

It's been a busy month! After Sweden I spent some time in the south of France and in Venice working on a travel magazine assignment. I'm in Slovenia at the moment, working with a judo club that is competing in the national championships, and one member of which competes in the european championships. They absolutely love CST, and we've crafted a plan for their club that's sure to propel them to the top ranks. They've got solid technical instruction in the form of a wily old veteran instructor, and CST will fill in the missing pieces of conditioning, recovery, periodization (the 4x7 wave) and longevity. Look for great things from these guys in the near future.

Off to budapest in the morning, and then germany for this event. Hope to see you there! :)

Coach Murdock,

I for my person know one or two things I hope to master by the end of that. Especially the much hated plough posture which is a key element of most of the A-series prasara flow and a huge hurdle for my development.

Bon voyage! I hope you have some warm cloth in your luggage. It's very cold here these days.

I look forward to meet you saturday!

Back from Hamburg!
Just a short report... I need a shower and something to eat after 2 hours of a german speedway with no generall speed limit ;-)

There is nothing better than a live event for your progression. Even though most of the stuff shown was not really new, it's the countless detaisl that count: the corrections of little mistakes you don't see in the mirror by yourself, the different approaches to some movements or poses and the little questions you can't really discuss here in the forum. Without any question it was worth to agonise out of bed at 6 o'clock in the morning toil yourself on a foggy and rainy speedway.

Thank you Coach Murdock and Raimar! You did a great job!

Was great to finally put a face to the forum profile, Andreas. Thanks for coming! Glad you enjoyed the day.

And thanks very much to Raimar for organizing a first-rate event, for showing me around Hamburg, and for ensuring that I could experience authentic German food (which tasted surprisingly Asian...).

Many of the athletes who trained with us were students of Raimar's jujitsu and/or karate classes. It's always said that a student is a reflection of their teacher, and this was most certainly true in this case. Congratulations, Raimar, on producing such a fine group of athletes. Your dedication to a lifetime of training was not only evident in your movement, it shone through the performance of each of your students.

I also promised to say that the Germans bested the Swedes in the Tacfit portion of the seminar (I know, it wasn't fair, the Swedes didn't know they were competing, and the Germans were unfairly taunted with how well the Swedes had done ;) ). Every single person pushed through for the full 20 points and no one dropped out to rest. This included woman in her mid-60's, a tough-as-nails teacher of karate, who came up to me at the end of the 20 minutes not even breathing heavy and said "That was a pretty good workout, I enjoyed it."

I'd say that with Raimar and Ola, CST Europe is in good hands...
