Hello Folks:

Some of you may know, at the Summit Center we're heavily influenced by our contact and past experience with Coach Sonnon. We share a lot of ROSS and RMA concepts with our students, plus our teaching style is based on the old 1970's kick butt take names model of training a fighter first, competitor second, survivor at all costs always.

Plus lets face it, old fashion traditional karate works if you learn it in an open environment free of creative restriction and encouraging of spontaneous expression. And that is a pure RMA thing from Coach Sonnon. He showed us a path to that via Hardwork/Softwork. If you don't mix these two, you should. It's golden.

The tournament was standing room only, packed. We had 9 students involved. We brought back 16 1st and 2nd place trophies. Age range was 9 to 16 to 46 yrs old. Ranks, white to high brown in competition.

Just wanted to share the news and let ya know, Coach Sonnons ideas and teaching will make even the staunchest trad karate guy, better at that trad karate. You don't give anything up, you simply enhance it. And it works.

Thanks.

Jack.
