Scott,
Do you have any ideas as to what drills I could incorporate to help rehab my ribs , I had four on the right and two on the left out of alignment and am still suffering from them even after treatment.
Currently I'm doing what appears to be a small infinity motion of the shoulders and that seems to hit the right areas as does the bio mech neck roll, I'm just curious if you can shed any further light on the subject.
Kindest Regards

Russell,
Does your physician prohibit any movement of the areas in question?

Not at all! Basically I have been given an all clear to go back to regular training and practice etc yet I am still suffering from the occasional niggle which I feel is a possible rib still being misaligned - My friend and coach will perform manipulation after training tomorrow night but he advises that I create a few movements that address my own personal needs as I have done - but I am in need of a fresh input.
For instance, whilst being held down in a perfect scarf hold I am considerably uncomfortable, more so than normal and I suffer from the occasional sharp pain coursing through the area - the ribs pressing against or scrapping against a nerve!
I am at this moment in time preparing for a quick session of spinal rocks - biomech neck rolls - and that movement I described - which I know will no doubt help me for a number of hours but as I am a greedy person I'd much prefer to be free on this singular niggling injury!
All advise will be much appreciated!
Kindest Regards

Russell,
Work the thoracic and lumbar Dynamic Range of Motion exercises in Warrior Wellness. I'd suggest circles and cardinal infinities (front/back and right/left). 5-10 reps as a warmup before your grappling, and every morning.
