Can't speak from experience for this one, but I can point you to someone who does this periodically. See Dan John's 'Lifting and Throwing' pages (mostly packaged as a PDF newsletter called 'GET UP' over at
www.danjohn.org/coach.html
He has a good discussion of his results with a 'Meat, Leaves and Berries' diet, and has gone extensive periods on a 'Meat and Water' (and coffee, I think) diet with results he quite liked. It's important to note that he combined this with a 'Lights Out' training philosophy of sleeping 9-11 hours a day - a person who gets enough sleep doesn't really need carbs (or at least starches) at all in his view. (I actually agree with this, but my current work/financial and student/education requirements make this impossible to follow).

I eat most meat, as of now, and ate all meat for a month period. Felt great! No digestion issues whatsoever. Energy through the roof. All in all, a very impressive experience. As of now, it's neither financially feasible nor practical for me to follow an all meat regimen. That may change in the future though.

Jay,
Changed my schedule a bit. Wake up fairly early (have a cup of yerba mate) and head to school. After that, come home and workout around noon. Post workout nutrition is a can of sardines :o I may have some nuts or nut butter throughout the rest of the day (2 handfuls of nuts or 2 heaping tablespoons of nut butter at most). Dinnertime comes; various veggies with a good amount of animal flesh or eggs (1-2 lbs of meat or 12-18 eggs) maybe some olive oil on the veggies. If I'm still hungry after dinner I will eat some more nuts. I am trying to just go with the flow. Small protein or nut snacks throughout the day and a hearty meat and veggies dinner to finish things off. Right now I am also experimenting with having 1-2 carb meals a week. If I start to blur out or it begins affecting me negatively in anyway whatsoever I'll cut it. I'll keep everyone posted on how that goes.
When I was eating all meat I would eat it throughout the day whenever I got hungry.

I followed the 'Body Opus' once: meat and fat only.
Felt great!
Unfortunately did not lost as much fat as I hoped
I will do this again sometime.

Were you following "the" body opus? If so, you should've been carbing up extensively each week. I have not had great results with CKDs, myself, as I have no self control when the carb up comes. Tonight I was suppose to have a nice pasta dinner with my girlfriend (I never eat carbs). Well, it turned into pasta + bread + two ice cream sandwiches + chocolate + a donut. Beautiful. I'll feel like total crap come tomorrow. Eh - have to live a little every once in a while ;)

Yes, 'the' BodyOpus with Carbing Up every weekend: 12 feedings a day every 2 hours :P .
For the first 2 weeks I lost about 10 lbs, next 4 weeks - only another 5 lbs.

If you were losing 1.25 pounds of FAT per week, you were doing pretty damn good! Should've kept at it!

But the book promised 10 lbs a week!!!
Seriously, I am planning a second try.

When you give it a go, lemme know how everything turns out. In regard to 10 lbs a week - yeah, and marriage is forever (falls over laughing). Anyway, 1.25 lbs of fat loss per week is damn near perfect. You should be losing nearly all adipose. By the time you get rid of the fat you will actually have some nice muscle left to look at ;)
-Jonathon
The book never promised 10 lbs a week. Go back and read it. Duchaine says if you have EVERYTHING right, you can expect an honest 2lbs of fat loss a week, unless you start in on the pharmeceuticals.

10 lbs/week was partially a joke.
I read the book a 1 year ago, so I do not exactly remember all the numbers but I almost
sure it is more than 2 lbs/week.
You can get this type of loss almost on any diet/exercise if you strictly follow it.
Unfortunately, I gave the book to my friend, so I cannot verify the numbers right now.
I will get it back within several weeks, so if anyone is interested in the accurate numbers
please let me know.

Ooh, this needs a qualifier IMHO. It takes muscle to burn fat and small people (including women) might not have that big a furnace. I just say this because I was one who always set my expectations that way, and got disappointed because I was ignorant about the LBM burn part.

Yes,
you are correct.
