I am currently starting the phase 4 double density protocol and am trying to do 20 sets of 10R/10L reps of the mill.
I would like to know if anyone has any advice on increasing the Mill speed. I am trying to do 20 total reps(10 right hand/10 left hand) in under one minute, but it is not moving fast enough.
thanks

I wrote an article on this in a back issue of the magazine. It might help you out.

Josh,
Have you followed the techniques outlined in Coach Szolek's OCS Training Manual (http://www.circularstrengthtraining.com/clubbellsport.html)?

No, I don't hace the OCS training manual yet. Is it necessary to obtain if I want to compete in OCS?
Brandon, I checked out your article and went through the exercises with no weight. I'll tell you if it works out.
thanks for the help

Josh,
How can you not have the manual? Why would you do that to yourself? All the tips, tricks, and training methods needed to put up high numbers are there in black and white for you to benefit from. Even if you weren't planning on competing in OCS the manual would push your training to the next level. If your seriously going to compete in OCS....get the manual.
Do it...Do it

OK, I will get the manual! Maybe I was just being cheap because I am a poor graduate student and I thought I could get by with the stuff I already have.
