I think in martial arts visualization is very important. It allows you to train your nervous system without actually moving. Creative visualization promotes the release of endorphins and can allow you to create your own kinetic chains as well as improving the mind body connection by strengthening the pareital lobe.

Do any of you practise visualization regularly?

What techniques do you use?

Very interested to hear your thoughts.

Peace.

Welcome Edward. I have a friend in a remote city who does visualization and mindset training.... he hasn't been able to describe it much to me, but whatever he's doing it works, he's a proficient fighter at 45 after only a couple years' training.
