I'm following the Density program guidelines right out of the CST book, and I'm a little confused about 1 thing:
When getting into the 19 x 11, 18 x 12, etcetera... instead of doing them all in x minutes, we're supposed to do them with "One Minute of Rest". Is this just one minute of total rest for the whole workout, or 1 minute between sets, or what? :?:
Thanks in advance for your replies!

Jason,
This protocol refers to 1 minute of rest between each set. The change is present because once you get to about 10-11 reps of an exercise you end up not having enough time left in the minute to recover for the next set.
Now if you're looking for a brutal workout cut the rest to 30 seconds between sets. It will take you a bit longer to progress between sets but the necessary adaptation of increased circulo-muscular endurance is amazing. Otherwise these next few steps will be quite easy compared to your last 3-4 due to the huge increase of rest time.
Let me know how it works for you and good luck.

Thanks, Doug! That's exactly what I was looking for!
:!: I was only slightly surpised to have you confirm my suspicion. The sudden jump up to 1 minute of rest between rounds seems almost too kind compared to the 23 x 9 I did in 22:50 last week.
I believe I will cut that recommended rest period down a bit to keep my overall time low. Besides, I like the endurance push I get from trying to knock them out more quickly.
