Hello,
Besides practicing your kicks, are there any specific exercises which will help make your kicks stronger and faster?
I've been working with FOM a bit and there's a few things in there I could definitely benefit from.
At the kung fu school I've been going to part of the curriculum is northern shaolin so there's a wide selection of kicks to choose from.
Thanks.

Hi everybody, I am working for health organization. I am also a college student. I have to analyze my diet and determine what is good about my diet. But I have to make a two page report. The only thing I got was a half of a page. Could anyone help me just telling things that are good about a good a healthy diet?

Chris-
Other than practicing all of your kicks very slowly (a barre is great for this), and very fast (ideally on a bag). I would say the 4 corner balance drill is the key. Just my opinion...Smile.

Thanks for the reply.
I've actually wondered about that. If you practice kicking, including very slowly, would you still benefit from the 4 corner balance drill? Doesn't your kicking practice already give you a lot of the benefits of it?

yes and no, if you are kicking slowly using a barre, then you are no getting the proprioceptive benefits that 4dbd are giving you. Plus, overall I think that the 4CBD is the best strength exercise for legs, so I include it daily, for me it is the last ting I do before I spend time in static poses (think stretching)...
