Dear Forum,

I would like to take this moment to publicly thank Nikolay Travkin at Rmax, Odis Meredith at Torque, and Scott Sonnon. They all have been amazingly generous and professional beyond the mediocrity so rampant in today's consumer-driven society. Thank you for sharing, so we may pass it on by sharing with others. I am not only referring to the t-shirt and Clubbell, but the unfiltered truth they share in what their products represent.

A few years back, I was going through some tough times (as we all do at one point or another), and Scott wrote in an e-mail that (I am paraphrasing) we get knocked back a few paces to get a running leap forward. I will never forget those words of encouragement and the endless generosity he takes time to share with others. Let us not take their generosity for granted and pass it on to others -- to influence others with the tribe mentality.

My grandfather used to always say, "peace through human relations." He used to tell me that training with someone in the trenches spoke volumes about each person, without one word every being spoken -- that action could transcend language and culture. When I swing my Clubbells, I find comfort that I am alone in this together with others out there swinging their Clubbells alone -- a motion which goes back to our ancestral instinct.

I normally do not like to wear logo shirts, but will don my Clubbell and Torque shirts with pride and gratitude.

p.s. For my birthday last week, I received Maximology and Shock-a-bility. Woo-hoo! :wink:
