hi everyone! this is my first post aside from welcome mat, so I hope this is not too confusing! I am a grappler - i wrestle, and work on submission and some stand up (muay thai) - i just drilled a bit for my first time last week after a year away due to ACL repair on my right knee.

I tore it while prepping for grappler's quest

i am not 100% as i can tell by my strength in 1 legged squats, ROM, general leg strength and agility during sprints..i am becoming increasingly intrigued by coach sonnon's thoughts and methodologies and would like to incorporate some of them, if not all eventually, into my current program..

to generalize, i use kettlebells 1 - 2 x week, and then another 1 - 2 x week i hit body weight and free weight exercises..i NEVER touch a machine any more since my injury and have fully revamped my training approach. Unfortunately it took this long and grueling injury / recovery period to get me out of bodybuilding while prepping for grappling.

in addition, i train high school wrestlers & a few college wrestlers..

which product would be my best investment for either
A) myself as of now?
B) my clients
or
C) both A & B

--sorry, sounds like a crazy test!
i love kettlebells and body weight training (combat conditioning) and i am slowly removing myself from free weights as kettlebells are just becoming highly addictive!
--I definitely see myself snagging a pair of clubbells, but, is there any product that is a MUST HAVE before I take part in any of Coach Sonnon's training?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I know so many of you are probably insanely busy!

all the best, and in turn, please let me know if I can help anyone else!

Must have..."Maximology" for you!

Not only will this give you a demonstration, explanation and practical application of the "BodyFlow/Grapplers Tool Box" concepts, but it will give an introduction to Clubbell training.

Leg Fencing should be right there at the top.

I'm about three years out of ACL surgery. Also, I'm a grappler and Muay Thai student/teacher.

I just did a workshop today and spoke about the benefits of Warrior Wellness and BodyFlow on your knee stability. One lady, who came to my class about a year ago, spoke about the new found stability in her knee. She's a nice 50+ lady, but she was a sore sight when she first came in my class.

Anyway, the Bodyflow will increase the quality of your movement on the mat. It will give you a significant increase in "core" strength that will be evident to anyone who grapples with you.

Grappling and Muay Thai puts a lot of tension in the hip area. These movements will surely open your hips, which means more energy and more power.

The Leg Fencing program has an EXCELLENT conditioning/tool development system that will do wonders to assist your knee in recovery and the material will truly enhance your Muay Thai clinching effectiveness.

The first thing you should focus on with the Clubbells should be the basic swings. In maximology, there is very detailed instruction. The Swings or Swipes will give you the knee stability you desire.

Once you learn the 4-corner balance drill, your knee will thank you.

Anything I can do, name it.

Oh, the Grapplers Tool Box is more specific to the grappler. It has some potent material for your wrestlers. I've introduced a couple of HS wrestling teams to it. The coaches loved it. One of the coaches attends my bodyflow class.

much obliged robert!! i appreciate you taking the time..as an athlete it's imperative for me to get another athlete's experience / advice..i think most of us in this field of fighting & training want to be better YESTERDAY, not today or tomorrow!!
all the best!
