Hi folks.
Just wanted to bang out a quick hello note to all.
I mostly spend my days between being as a massage therapist and chiropractic student over here in Perth, West. Australia. After 5yrs in massage, I got sick of others telling me how I could and couldn't work with people, so decided to upgrade my skills. I'm now in 2nd yr chiropractic and to be honest it's kicking my ass ;-)
A few of my other interest are Feldenkrais, natural medicine and martial artist (MMA, aikido, judo)
My main interest is in movement - how people move, why people move and how people can move more freely. Watching Scott move...nifty! How did he learn to do that? Well, dammit, if he can, why can't I?
Ironically, I got the Zdrovye series ages ago (2000) looked at it once, and promptly decided it was "R.O.M. crap". Only recently, as my Feldenkrais practice has matured (and having viewed IOUF) have I come to reconsider that initial snap decision.
As the cybernetically inclined like to say -
"Knowledge is information. Information is choice. Choice is freedom".
It's all good ;)
Cheers
