Good day, I haven't posted here for sometime but am very impressed with how Rmax has grown particularly with regards to the joint mobility and ROM aspects, as I have become very interested in this subject. This leads me to to as for all you to offer your advice in this situation...
My mother was in a car accident 10years ago which resulted in a soft tissue injury in her lumbar region.. the specifics were not pinpointed and it was deemed as a injury in the general area. Now at this point in time she experiences considerably restricted ROM, nerve impingements, over compensation of her right side in the back, and every now and then her back "locks" on her, which causes pain, inflammation and undoes any progress she makes in fitness and day to day capabilities. At this point in time, the doctors still say its an ongoing soft tissue injury along with a developing arthritis on the L5/S1 region. With all this happening to her she is very optimistic but does tend to get frustrated as she on on indefinite sick days from work and cannot perform day to day activities comfortably. She does find massage therapy does work, but only as a temporary fix. This is where my predicament begins to assist her....
What are some recommendations that any of you can suggest, treatments, specialist for her to seek out and question, any programs of books we can look into. I'd appreciate any advice you can offer and at this point it is upsetting to see this ongoing frustration occuring with my mom and it would be nice to seek some advice that may actually deem effective and not a temp fix. I understand its difficult to really get an idea of the injury, but any suggestions will be much appreciated. and feel free to pm me if if you have any further questions.
Thanks in advance
