If you're interested in an incredible experience into the impact of nutrition, emotions and behavior, then signup for the Radiant Recovery Ranch (http://www.radiantrecovery.com/ranch_signup.html) conducted by Dr. Kathleen DesMaisons, Ph.D, author of Potatoes Not Prozac and Your Last Diet. The Ranch is a four-day retreat (May 19-21, 2004) in beautiful Albuquerque, NM. I am one of the presenters, introducing CST to the participants, and look forward to seeing you there.

Hold down the fort while I'm gone tribe. I'll see you at the Ranch those who are attending. See everyone else next week. I don't think I'll find an internet connection in the desert.

Well, the desert proved me wrong. I'm down here in Alburquerque. We're headed for an AM hike to Bandolier national monument (http://www.nps.gov/band/)to explore the ancient Pueblo dwellings.

I look forward to reading through all of your posts as soon as time permits. Too much to see and do right now with family and friends though the 20 Clubbells are calling!

Today begins with a workshop on the connection between biochemistry and nutrition (after Warrior Wellness and breakfast). So many people display obvious addiction to the "white stuff" - sugar. Since it's a socially accepted drug, it hasn't received the research to understand the nature of the addiction. I've been off sugar for four years now. The step by step process laid out by Dr. DesMaisons however is much more accessible, long lasting and effective than my 'cold turkey' approach. I must say that as a sugar sensitive individual, I have never seen anything like this before, and hope to share what I learn with those I encounter facing these same issues.

So far the head count for the CST workshop is 60, but not everyone has arrived yet. 8)
