I have been trying to follow the 4 x 7. I had to postpone my high intensity day due to taking care of family. I did get a chance to insert a no intensity day in its place, and then did the high intensity day the next day. My question is do I then continue with another no intensity ( which I am inclined to do ) or do I pickup with a low intensity day?

I post my workouts if anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

It is suggested that you continue to follow the 4x7 format: high - no - low - med - high, etc

Thanks Paul I will continue with no intensity. Just realised I posted today as low intensity on my blog. My mistake!!!!

4x7 is the best way I have ever trained.

Following any other kind of schedule just feels weird now, my body has completely adapted to this 'wave' (although there are times when life presses on me and I have to add an extra day of rest like mentioned above).

hello,

shadow, looking forward to that feeling. almost sounds as if "it makes all other workouts obsolete!".

thanks

Shadow,

I like the 4 x 7 so far, although it feels like I am not working enough when I take a no intensity day. Surprisingly when I came to my last high intensity day, even though I had a stressful day the day before and I didn't kick up the intensity as I should have about half way through my first set I wish I had trusted the system because it felt to easy. I have 2 more days till my next high intesity day to find out if I was correct or not. I am actually looking forward to it.

Lorenzo,

As I said above it is working pretty well I think!!! The amount of work seems less but I think the intensity is picking up and the Intuflow and Flow fit are giving me back my mobility. I just hope I am putting the 4 x 7 together correctly.

Thanks everyone for their encouragement.

Steve
