I am teaming up with Dave Randolph (CST Instructor and AKC Coach) of IronBody Fitness (http://www.iron-body.com/) in Louisville, KY to conduct a Kettlebell and Clubbell seminar on March 14th. This will be the first seminar of its kind in the area as we bring you expert instruction on two of the hottest tools in fitness today.
Here are some of the highlights:
Kettlebell Section:
* swings - "hardsyle" & "relaxed" style - How to do them and when to use them
* cleans - dead and swing, proper rack position including hand placement and wrapping the handle around the hand
* snatches - dead & swing, "hardstyle", "sport" style - How to do them, which version to use when
* timed sets of cleans and snatches
* jerks and long cycle
* squatting with a kettlebell
* lot's of practice and focus on efficient movement
Clubbell Section:
* Introduction / Safety
* Basic Positions
* 7 Key Components
* Rock-Its - this one exercise will work your entire bod, especially the thighs and butt, hard!
* Front Swings -like kb swings, the basic movement
* Front Pendulums- proper elbow placement, strengthen your grip learn to use the whole body to stabilize the Clubbell®
* Presses - Torch and Front - build not only shoulder strength but hand and core strenght too
* Casts - Arm and Shoulder - dynamic movements great for rehab as well as strength
* Shield Cast -excellent movement for openeing the shoulders and working the upper back
* Parry Cast
* Compensatory Cool-Down - Prasara Yoga postures designed to reset the body after Clubbell and kettlebell training
