Anybody had good results while using this supplement?

Would it be usefull even when taking a p-5-p complex twice a day?

What about if someone was just coming off steroids, would it help to get test levels back to natural levels?

Also, just thought, do any of you have experience with tribbulus terrestris? Are these things in the same bogus category as these silly andro products or are they genuine?

Looking forward to your replys, thanks a lot.

I took ZMA every night for three months at the end of last year. At that time I was training very hard in MMA, and I was hoping that it would help my strength and recovery.

The main thing that I noticed was a very, very deep sleep, almost too deep. It felt like I had taken a sleeping pill, and I often felt groggy in the morning. As for recovery, I can't say that I felt much one way or the other. I did seem to put on some mass, which surprised me given the volume of training that I was doing.

After three months I had a bunch of blood work done, including my testosterone levels. The blood work showed that the ZMA hadn't done anything to raise my test levels, despite the results obtained by that one study that every manufacturer of ZMA cites.

I stopped taking it, and frankly, feel better without it, as I have a more natural sleep.

I don't know what a p5p complex is, and I've never done steroids, so I can't help you with either of those questions.

I've had mixed results with ZMA. I use it for a deeper sleep. Plus, almost any athlete is deficient in magnesium. I am probably going to go to a magnesium glycinate supplement, instead of the ZMA for a while to compare the two.

To assist in the recovery of the HPTA after a steroid cycle, a mixture of tribulus and vitex (chasteberry) and maybe long jack, may help. I've heard this in a few different places online. Get them cheap at www.beyond-a-century.com

I didn't notice any significant effects from ZMA apart from the aforementioned drowsiness

Thanks guys!

I think i'll leave it and rely on omega 6 efa's to keep the test levels up.

The p-5-p complex I take is full of magnesium citrate, zinc and b6. I remember reading that the patented zma formula was more effective.

I'm also taking creatine and whey protein now.

I have found that since taking the creatine i'm getting headaches. From what i've read this might be to do with the fact that i've started eating loads of bannana's to keep the glycogen content of my muscles topped up.

okay, thanks again, peace.

I tried ZMA before and found that the effects on my sleep were less than desirable. It was kind of a double edged sword for me because IT DID put me into a deeper sleep at night, BUT it gave me REALLY terrible nightmares as well!
