View Full Version : What to do with a broken foot?

OK, so two weeks after injuring my foot, I finally saw a podiatrist, and sure enough, the fifth metatarsal is snapped clean through. A nice oblique fracture. I'm told I could get surgery and a couple of titanium screws, but it should heal nicely on its own, albeit shortened by about 3mm.

The problem is, I'm supposed to use crutches for at least a couple of weeks, and I can't figure out how to use my Clubbells without dropping my crutches. Is there any way I can do Swipes, or at least the Arm Cast portion, without interfering with my recovery?

Sit down and do them seated.

Rest and recover quickly.

Cool. I have the perfect stool (drum throne) for seated Clubbell work. Nice and stable and padded. :)

I'd better recover quickly, what with Epsilon coming up mid-July, and me in Africa (sans Clubbells) for the latter half of June...

Thanks for the quick response, Coach.
