I've got two months before certification course and have only been swinging my 15lb badboy for a week. It might be too early for this post since my CST book arrives tomorrow which will no doubt be an 'eye opener'. But here we go.
For those that have been through certification, demand the highest standards and don't want to waste time - my question is as follows:
If you had to go through the learning curve again - where would you focus your attention, how would you train and what decisions would you make that would fully prepare you for successful certification... IN ONLY TWO MONTHS?
Answer this my friends and I could be a walking testimony for your methods...

Mike,
It may or may not be too early for your post but I think it is definitely too early to be concerned with CST Certification. This is probably what you do not want to hear but, in my humble opinion, the Certification should not be done crash course style. Sure, you can memorize the information but the true beauty of CST comes when you assimilate it into your body and being. I hazard to guess that this takes longer than 2 months. Realize also that CST is much more than the Clubbell. Have you delved into BodyFlow?, Warrior Wellness? etc.
This is not a knock against you but I feel, as someone who has been following Coach Sonnon's teachings for more than a year now(with more than a little resistance against in the beginning), you should definitely attend the course but not with the Certification as the main goal. Go, learn, and absorb all that is offered.
CST is an elegant, multi-dimensional approach that loses it's impact and beauty when whittled down to a strictly linear approach. Explore the courses and the forum, learn how your body and mind react. Delve into the feelings and emotions that are evoked. Enjoy all the questions that will arise from the practice and then try to answer them yourself. See what you discover! For me, that is the great joy of CST...learning to not fight against myself but with and for myself.
But by all means attend the Course and count yourself lucky that you can!
I wish you the best,
Coach Jones

Mike,
The CST Instructor seminar is indeed challenging. It's hard work and exhausting. That said, you're not expected to be a biomechanical wizard on arrival. You'll be building on what you've already done and improving at an amazing rate due to the quality and variety of instruction given at the seminar. If you're serious, get a hold of the body-flow material, get the warrior wellness and/or freedom by degree, study them incorporate them into your daily training and get to work. 2 months is PLENTY of time to prepare.
It's a good news - bad news kind of thing.
The good news is you have plenty of time to "prepare" for the CST.
The bad news is no matter how much you prepare... you won't be "prepared".
It's tough but you can do it.
Good Luck,
Brandon Jones
