I recently started training with my clubbells, once or twice a week. I do alot of bodyweight stuff, sprints and martial arts as well. I have never had any back problems ever, until I started doing the clubbell training. I am very sure that I am not over-training and I believe the cause is from technique. It is nothing "bad" right now, just a slight twinge from time to time, after I have completed the workout. I feel the problem is when going behind my back with the cb's I am arching the back to much. I try not to let this happen by keeing the ab's tight and making sure the elbows do not go past my head. I have had a friend watch me and they said there is hardly much back bend! Anyway, any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Rob,

Stop working Swipes until you resolve the form issue. Work on the Rock-it Drill (http://trainforstrength.com/ex-17.shtml) so that you can teach yourself how to sit-back and bend at the hip while keeping your back straight.

Thanks coach, will do! I have been meaning to try out the Rock-it Drill anyway.
