Couple questions

You do not need to be a CST instructor already correct?
How much of the deposit will we lose if there is a conflict of schedule last minute? Normally I know you'd just lose, but I ask since hopefully most that will be able to attend are civil service workers and mission/local crises happen unannounced.

That's correct. You can be certified in TACFIT® without being certified as a CST instructor or coach.

Deposits and fee are non-refundable and non-transferable.

I have questions regarding necessary preparation. I have the TACFIT® program but have not been working through it, nor do I have most of the equipment at my disposal at this point. I am working in a small town in West Texas and also do not have an appropriate space to do such a workout. So, I am wondering whether it would be advisable to attend with, say, zero practice & training time on the program. Please advise.

EDIT: I found some answers on this thread in the TACFIT forum.

Perhaps some guidance would be helpful for those who don't have access to the TACFIT forum.

Best,

You will not be able to specifically prepare for the event and exams without the actual equipment though how do you mean you don't have space?

Coach,

Thank you for the reply. As for space and equipment, I found the following thread.
http://www.rmaxinternational.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19640

My apartment has no place to set up rings, plyo box work would be problematic, etc.

My best bet would be to find a gym that has most of the stuff, and would store the rest for me (or at least wouldn't mind my bringing it in), and that had enough space for clubbell swings, etc. In this town, there is some possibility of that.

Anyway, I am sitting on the fence and considering focusing on CST and CST-GX at this point. So a smaller initial investment of the right size clubbell pairs would be in order for me.

Down the road, TACFIT does look like an appealing challenge, and a sensible alternative to the likes of CrossFit.

Best,
