I submit this on behalf of my elder brother. He is 50yrs old, in good physical shape and has been working with kettlebells for approximately 2 months. I am still learning basic handling and form with the clubbells, and shared my own enthusiasm about them with my bro. Everything I have read up to this point recommends beginning with ten pounders. My brother however has spent all of his adult life in the masonry trades. He is a marble mason and stone carver, exhibiting pretty phenominal strength in his grip, forearms and shoulders. Does anyone out there have any suggestions based on their own experiences as to which size clubbells he should start with?
